This is a FULL DAY workshop, visiting three unique towns in the Wairarapa Food & Wine region, approx. 1.5 hours drive from Wellington.

It will be held both on and off the tour bus, and at the various venues in Wairarapa, requiring in-person attendance.

10.00 Views over the Rimutaka ranges - stop for fresh air
​
10:30 First Site Visit – C'est Cheese Featherstone - Cheese Making Talk & Tasting

11:30 Second Site Visit – Schoc Chocolates Greytown - Talk & Tasting
​
12:30 Lunch & discussion, Union Square Hotel Martinborough - 2-course set menu
​
13:30 Walk around historic town of Martinborough in reflection groups
​
14:30 Third Site Visit – Ata Rangi Winery, Martinborough - Discussion & Tasting
​
15:30 Fourth Site Visit - Organic Wine grower - Discussion on growing approach.
​
16:00 Bus leaves for Wellington - Reflection and Ideating on the Bus
​
17:30 Bus returns to School of Design and Innovation, Wellington
​
19.00 Optional dinner at Karaka Cafe, Wellington harbour - Indigenous food (self-funded)
